A monster who kidnapped a 14-year-outdated girl and held her in an underground bunker for 10 times — wherever he raped and tortured her — died on Monday in a South Carolina jail.

Vinson Filyaw, 51, who was serving a 421-yr sentence following pleading responsible to the horrific 2006 crime, was located unresponsive in McCormick Correctional Establishment, the State noted.

There ended up no signals he was killed, the outlet documented.

Filyaw’s disturbing kidnapping plot was highlighted in a 2018 life span present identified as “The Girl in the Bunker.”

Filyaw pleaded responsible in 2007.

Barney Giese, who prosecuted the case, described Filyaw as “a negative male.”

“He bought 421 many years and deserved each individual working day of it,” Giese told the Point out.

All through his sentencing, Decide G. Thomas Cooper reported what Filyaw experienced finished was “unforgivable.”

“You have preyed upon helpless victims with violence and in a savage way,” he said at the time, the Point out documented.

Evidence in the situation showed that in September 2006, Filyaw stalked the young teen as she obtained off a college bus in Kershaw County.

He then impersonated a police officer, placing her underneath arrest since her spouse and children was cultivating weed, the paper documented in 2007.

He took the target into the woods, raped her and place a necklace all-around her neck that he reported would explode if she designed an escape attempt, the report said.

Filyaw also experienced 3 other bunkers about Kershaw County, in accordance to the State.

Jack Duncan, Filyaw’s defense law firm, stated forward of sentencing that his customer experienced from paranoia, delusions and alcoholism.

Nonetheless, Filyaw received a jaw-dropping 421-calendar year sentence.

“It’s the longest particular sentence, I think, in South Carolina history,” Duncan said, according to the Point out.
